Just found the South West board and read Tuttle's bit on Talivan Location for the Bristol area so thought
I would mention that Devon and Cornwall's Talivan was spotted @ Ebford on the A376 to Exmouth.
I have lived down here for 2 years and not seen it before and wonder if it's a new location.
Is there a website that gives locations for D@C ?

I think there's been camera warning signs for ebford for a while. To be honest I'm not too fussed if they're pinging people going in the exmouth direction as you'd have to be pushing it a bit to be done there - well at least in my car! But if its the other way then I guess its best to keep an extra eye on your speedo

Do you know if they're doing both directions?

At least their not targeting neighbouring Exton, as pretty much NO ONE observes that stupid 30 limit through there.

Thanks for the notice.

The best game going into Ebford dip is to hang back from the car in front and then boot it towards the flashy signt thing, if you time it judt right you can set it off for the law abiding car in front of you.

*Tee hee*

How childish...

Naughty boy Nic. Also, it should be worth noting that on a not to irregular basis they can be found parked on the wide verge of Dinan Way in Exmouth near to the recent Bystock development catching stuff on its way down the hill. They do, at least, appear to put out plenty of warning signs though.

Just as an aside, if they have to be parked legally to ensure a conviction, can you not park a van right behind them obscuring their view, as long as you were legally parked too? Or, if you really did have nothing better to do (and considering they're parked on a grass verge in a residential street) just stand there in front of the camera? Be fun to follow them round all day just for the nuisance value if you could!

Thats ok then. I don't live in Exmouth but travel there occaisionly. Bet they get loads of money from dinan way as that is another appaling 30 limit (bet it used to be 40).

I've read the online exmouth journal and have seen a report that the 30 limit on hulham road might be extended Wonder it that'll become a camera site.

I don't suppose you happen to know if mobile scammers also operate on the main exeter road (the A376 bit)?

I've not seen them there that often, although I do know the Rozzers hide in the petrol station on the Exmouth side of the Ebford dip when they've got nothing better to do. However, I have to say I very rarely use that road travelling from Exmouth to Exeter and back each day, I tend to go up towards Blackhill and through Woodbury, and then on that pish bit of d/c past London and Manchester towards the Clyst St. Mary roundabout. On that trip I've never, ever seen a scamera or Talivan.
