Deposit on 997 Turbo???????

Iv just been contacted by the dealer i use for my porsche's. He has said that the new 997 Turbo will be officially released on the 13th and that the deposit is 10k.

This is higher than ever before if i remember, is this just my dealer or are all porsche dealers going to be asking for 10k deposits?

The 10k maybe their way of filtering out the speculators.

Thats exactly what they he said, I dont have a problem i just thought they said before that the deposit would be 5 on a turbo as i paid 3 on my cab.

The deposits are also 5 on an AMV8 so 10 is the most expensive iv heard.

Yes they are applying £10k across the board for the 997TT, GT3 and GT3RS. It's intended to help weed out speculators who might otherwise choose to place several deposits with different dealers.

If they want to weed out speculators, why not do the lease thing for the first year rather than trying to get a large interest free loan?

It should be 20% of the asking and supported by papal edict co-signed by EIIR.
