It has been a very good series, very tempted to buy 1 and 2 on DVD since I only saw the occasional episode.

Some of the stuff is so true to life, great writing.

I thought it had won a few already.

Best thing on TV at the moment.

Outstanding, how funny was it when the matey with Tourettes was shouting at the criminal family?

easily.

although they seem a bit desperate in this series to push the boundaries of gay sex on tv. its kinda like they are trying too hard to be shocking.

I couldn't decide whether the joke about Frank and his mad bird's youngest daughter perhaps becoming a Lesbian in later life was in dreadful taste or not...

"oh, do you really think so Frank?"

"Well, she never sucks her thumb!"

but I laughed.....a lot

That character just cracks me up every time.

"Ermintrude!"

"Jabba!"

Yeah, it was so funny !! Shameless is my currently favourite on TV (wouldn't miss it)

At the end - Carl said "At least I won't have w*nking cramp anymore"

Shameless is pure class - in fact its a lifestyle....

Reading the posts about additional taxation, jihad and the poll tax, I'm thinking of selling up, converting it all to cash and pleading poverty to go and live somewhere like the Chatsworth Estate to survive on benefits and "E".

Marty (with tourettes) is a genius character - witness the "Monster hard on" line, (in next weeks or on E4 after)

Pure class.

Another programme glorifying and celebrating the chav culture.

Regardless of production values - are these really the kinds of "heroes" we want on television?

Marty - do he have tourettes real life or it all acting (if so, damn good one)?

Yep - definitely an aspirational character.
