Googling I have found an interactive map.

hole "Great" Yarmouth. Take a walk up round the castle and enjoy the views.I know Scarborough like the back of my hand, having been there umpteen times from the age of 1 to the present day. I love Scarborough, and would heartily recommend it, yet i admit part of that may be due to sentimentality reasons.
What do you want to know? It has a fair mix of elderly and younger holidaymakers. Pubs, good restaurants, nightclubs, amusement arcades, parks, excellent fish and chips, piers (2 of them), fishing, boat trips, shoppping (is OK but not great), a nice castle, great bays (2 of them), fairground rides, model battleship warfare, a lighthouse, theatre, cobbled streets, rocks, crazy golf, crazy maze, pitch and putt, wonderland tree walk, fishermen, donkeys, icecream (the famous Jaconelli's) tales of folklore and hauntings, a nudist beach a few miles up shore.... - it's got it all really. Oh, and the sea
A few chavvy areas, and the last time i was there it really was boy/girlracer city!
Mind you, might be a bit quiet this time of year. Let me know if you would like to know any more.
edit - And Princes Street is well situated for most things

Thanks for the gen gbbird. I think I'll have a peep at the castle and maybe the fossil museum. I am busy in the evening, so won;t be able to enjoy the sights and sounds.
Also, can you tell me the average barometric pressure for the last 20 years and what Scarborough Town Council's recycling policy is

The recycling policy is fairly good - subsidised garden composters and you get a blue wheely bin for recyclable paper waste alongside the green one for normal stuff. You also get a plastic bag for tin cans and so on.
I can happily answer any more sarcastic questions
