should I get a 360
Discussion
I have the chance of getting a 360 second hand from my local game shop. I know the owner as all is fine with the console. will still have a warrenty, but its the one without the hard drive. cost 150 quid
does that sound good?
I can get a few more quid off s well. I always try my best and use this shop a lot
if so what the are first games I should get?

Price sounds great, go for it, just get ready for mega problems getting hold of a headset or a hard drive !!
IMO, COD2 was great, then I completed it and it now just sits in the box
Online pay is dire, there is a glitch to let you play larger games but in my experience it was a total lag fest
Wait for GRAW
PGR3 is a must.
Tiger Woods is good if you like golfing games.

I have an on xbox live for my old xbox. do I need to upgrade for the 260. if not what do I need to do to get online or is it just pluging int he wire?
Just plug the 360 into the router/pc as you did the x-box, and go to 'retrieve gamertag from x-box live'. You'll need to enter a couple of details (your old gamertag), and then prove it is you (they ask for credit card no.s etc.), and that's your account transferred.
You can still run Live from your original x-box (just as well, cos Forza runs like a dog on the 360), but you won't be able to 'manage' your account from anything but the 360.
Edit: I think at the very least you'll need a memory card for the 360 to get on Live - obviously, hard-drive is the preferred option though.
