Hi fellas,

Just trying to find a way to lower my two £1.5k + £1.25k car insurance bills !!!

Can anyone reccommend an insurance company who will cover Multiple Cars?

I.e - use your no claims bonus across more than on vehicle (and also cover Ferrari / group 20 cars?).

Many thanks.

Joel K

PS - the cars are not company cars, but private.

I looked into this, I had three more expensive polices that that, until......

Norwich Union Direct quoted me so happy I could not believe it. My 997 went from over two grand to £700.

If you're married get all your cars insured by your wife. You can still be the owner, and you can legally pass NCB between spouses at will. The difference is astonishing.

Admiral "MultiCar" is a multiple car policy, but their online quote tool doesn't list Ferrari, Lamboghini or Maserati even though they list Porkies, TVR's etc

Might be worth a try?

Fairly sure they told me to Foxtrot Oscar when I has the 3200, in whichcase I doubt they'd cover a Fezza / Lambo / Pagani etc..

Murph7355 has his Daytona and 355 on one policy IIRC. His Caterham's ona separate policy though. PM him or me for details - he doesn't get on PH that much

I had the Bentley and the Cerby on one policy with Norwich Union.

Made huge difference on cost IIRC.

Many insurers like AON consider a Ferrari as a Classic car, and therefore no proof of NCD is necessary, leaving you to insure your other car(s) as normal.

I know a few people who use this from Zurich. Sounds pretty good

Virgin Car insurance have been great i dont think they do that many Ferraris but I have 2 cars with them both very high groups, they even do 0% over 12 months if it hurts too much!

I use Footman James (Jane - 0121 561 6218). Very good service from them thus far. Think I pay about 1700GBP a year for unlimited miles on the 355 and Daytona. Agreed value on the latter.

Get a seriously good deal on the Caterham elsewhere (thanks Dave at MSM!). Adding this at FJ wouldn't have been sensible this time round.

As with all things about insurance though, it depends when you call, who you talk to and your personal circumstances (I'm 35 - 34 at last renewal, 1 SP30, 17yrs or so clean other than that, insured at an S20 postcode).

We also deal with the Zurich Private Clients policy and I have to admit for the right risk it's excellent.

I suggest you give Jon a buzz and see if it stacks up for you.

Hi fellas.

Thanks for all your advice.

Despite trying every lead listed - Adrian Flux, the insurers of my other vheicle quoted better than anything else I found, on an individual policy (future classic car type scheme).

And I still managed to beat the renewal by a few hunderd quid !

I currently have Chubb which I am very happy with for 3 of my 4 cars (they are too posh to stoop down to the Alfa 166 ). Only problem is they don't cover tack days. Does Zurich PC cover this? Specifically I would be interested in European track days. Also is the cover as comprehensive?

Cheers
