Hi,
I've been looking at elises over the past month or so and have found one that seems to tick all the correct boxes. However, it is a sport 160. Aside from the engine, stylistic touches and firmer suspension, i'm not sure of any other distinctions between this and other elises.
I've checked the insurance, and unbelivably, it seems its ITRO £40 dearer to insure
Any help much appreciated

www.elises.co.uk has all the details of the different Elise variants. Gives a good update on the Sport 160 and the sub-variants of the Sport 160 (SVA, WVTA and the 'S' specifications). I have a WVTA Y2k Sport 160S, and it is brilliant. The later Sport 160S model is the one to go for if you can.
If you've got any specific questions after reading the Sport 160 section in the above feel free to come back and post here. Also there's a bunch of stuff in the archives (I know because I did much of my research on PH before I got mine!) so search away in there too for specifics if you want more info. Chances are it's been asked before.
