Back box and Air Box for 3.2

Im looking at getting a s/s back box and an air box and filter purely to make my car sound a tad more fruity really, suggestions please for suitable items and from where I might obtain them.

Hi Dom, how is the 'running in' going?

Re the exhaust & filter, I'm guessing that a cup pipe or G pipe replacement (not entirely sure if these refer to the same thing but someone in the know, will I guess, know!) to lose one of the silencers will do the trick and a bit of swiss cheese treatment to the air box wiil aid in induction sounds. Got the cup pipe on mine and it sounds amazing.

So I can take to the airbox with a drill and have a similar effect to replacing with a 'performance part' can I???

Any idea of actual make and costs for exhaust?

Running in is going ok, although its quite frustrating shifting before 4000 revs all the time...
I have another 1000 miles to do, which if the weather will behave itself, will get underway this weekend as Im off shift for a few days again

Good man!!! I will have broadband at home in the next couple of days so will finally have access to the world from my hovell (rather than having to wait til I get in to work to do these things).

Cup pipe and G-pipe drill box.....

I am in the same position as you. i don't want to spend a fortune on an exhaust system just yet so am looking for a first step in the looks and sound department.

I have been recommended by several people to go for a Dansk back box, polished s/steel, single in with a single 84mm tail pipe (the standard 3.2 tail pipe is about 67mm!)

Cost is around £315 + Vat either from the importers [url][e-mail][/url] or your local independent will be able to get it for you.
