G T 2...... can I escape Porsche?
Discussion
Car shopping is getting closer... (thank god)
I'd decided after the Turbo to head to Ferrari for a 360
• B U T * I am feeling the hard pull of heading back to Porsche.
So, the GT2 - what is it like to live with?
Will not be used for commuting, purely weekend fun, european jaunts & track play.
Anyone had both a 360 and GT2?
Comments, abuse, ideas and alternatives welcome!
SL55 was on the list but feels too grown up at the moment, not enough pennies for a SL65.

perfect for all three, although bumpy b roads unsettle the hard ride
My chap at Porsche Tonbridge says they pretty sim in terms of cost (running) to the x50. Correct?
Anything specific I need to look out for? Except trying to find one for sale!!

Buster go and have a look at the GT2 on the P/H classifieds, mbutchers old car at £57995.It is a near perfect example and drives superb.I can back him up on the performance as well..it left the 360 and my gt3 for dead.(in a straight line!)
Only slight issue it's abt 2 months too early to buy now....
i'd explode with that at home and being unable to drive it! (Hence selling the TT last year).

Should be pretty similar. Just make allowance for the cost of swapping the brakes over to steels when they wear out. About £2.5/3k for all four corners (A number of GT2 owners on here can perhaps provide more detail?).
Just make sure you find a car before the Eurohoon trip to Porsche and RUF in late April.

(PS - BTW, you are aware that GT3/2 do not have PSM or any form of traction control other than the throttle)

Hi Daz!
Steels factored in.
noted ref PSM / Traction - that's the whole idea. Feels like and exciting change from the feel-all-warm TT.

Buy a SL 600, Then go and see MR Kleemann,..[result waaayyy faster than a SL 65].
Crikey. Must have a chat whenever the next VMAX is and find out what you've done to the car.

(Got an SL500 in the household)
I will take you for run if you like, and, will there be girls there to talk to my wife, about clothes, handbags, shoes, etc,as that will be the only way to pize her from the car!!
