Hi any advice would be most welcome. I have a 111s series 2 which just failed on emissions as they were about 11% instead of around 3 or 4% apparently.
When I took the car to the garage it was running fine but on picking it up I now have the MIL light permanently on and failed emissions. Of course the garage have not done anything to cause the sudden appearance of my warning light and it's all down to bad luck and co-incidence.
Any ideas which sensor has packed in, where is it and where do I get one cheap as chips?
Thanks Mark.

I had this a couple of weeks ago - it'll be the lambda sensor I'll bet. See my thread called "MOT failure" which should be on about page 6 or 7 of this forum
Also, check your exhaust for any leaks or bursts - exhaust gases can escape past the lambda sensor and come straight out of the exhaust.
