The wife has tasked me with taking some photos of children in clothes she's designed for them for a brochure.
I've borrowed 3no. SB-800 guns from a friend. I'm hoping to use the one on the camera (D50) as master and the other 2 as slaves.

Does any one know if the D50 will manage this task?

You can't use the D50 as a commander, as it has no commander mode.

You may be able to put one of the SB800s on the camera, and use this to trigger the other two as slaves. Good luck, the manual for these things is longer than the bible, and only slightly less boring.

The SB 800 will trigger the other slave flash guns but you MUST have an SB800 on the camera

You can use an sc-28 lead from camera to gun 1 then a normal sync lead from 1-2 and another from 2-3. Happy trying!!

Ironically enough, last night at work I put an SB-600 on display, and after playing with it for a while, I now want one for the D70...

Yup, that is a pretty boring manual, very soporiphic.

My intention is to use one of the SB-800s on the camera as a master to drive the other two as slaves.

Looks like I'm going to have a fun Saturday then
