mine was feeling horribly quick a few weeks ago and thats with less than 5000 miles on it. Those people who sell at 1500 miles really are missing out! I can't wait 'til it's got the synthetic oil and is back in france where they wouldn't know what a speed camera was if they saw one.

DJC - I saw your car at DM for its 6k service when mine had its 1K. Looks lovely (I should think that, as I went for a very similar colour scheme barring the wheels).

Finding a dry stretch of road has been tough recently - I spent the last four days on gritty, oily, damp and muddy roads fom London to Cornwall and back. Lovely roads down South West, but no chance of booting it as the conditions were far less than ideal.

Thus, when one experiences such conditions and then chances upon dry roads and clear skies, there is only one way to go.

Even at 2k miles, the engine appears to be easing up. I eagerly await 6k...

I applaud your taste Sir Classic scheme, looks great. Very understated, very British. Taunting, tempting, menacing, daring, just sitting there in the sunlight. Evil, viscious, sitting alone under flourescent lights at night.

Had a blast today, really did

Oh and Ive just worked out I think it has returned me 30mpg over the course of the day...result

It is indeed.

I've been lucky to have had experience of plenty of exotic cars. But I've never before been compelled to write about a drive immediately afterwards. Totally know where you're coming from DJC! But I think a louder, fire breathing (or should that be freer breathing!) exhaust would finish it off nicely and make for one heck of a spring, summer and autumn. TVR power say they'll cut the silencer box out and replace it with right angled steel tubing. Sounds a bit crude but would mean straight through exhausts (bar whatever silencing the end cans get up to). I would then expect flames at night on the overrun.

if ever a car should have flames coming out the exhaust, the Sagaris is it.

Wicked idea!! That'll keep the verges down too.

Would be a hell of a sight/sound going through a tunel - the original fire breathing monster!!
