Ted the search option and all the stuff that normally appears on the bar has vanished

That has happened occasionally for me, but a quick refresh has sorted it.

A refresh should sort you out. You haven't disabled javascript have you?

On a side note when i go to "whats new" it hasnt been doing if for me this evening, only if i then refresh do i get the newest topics...
