I'm usually sceptical about some of the claims in that magazine. Iirc they got somewhere near 500hp from what was almost a crate ls6 with a few tweaks and I didn't believe that. In fact their base line ls6 engine made a load more power then GM claimed, which is why I'm so sceptical. Also, look at the power hikes, 32 hp from an intake swop plus maf etc. Those guys at GM must be real thickies not to have spotted that! Interesting read though, some of the mods would be useful.
