just wondering what the difference is between these two models

None 964 Turbo 2 probably correct but purists would insist 965 which was a factory designated code but did not make it to marketing however does appear on chassis! The Daddy 965 Turbo S 80 worldwide true lightweight built on 3.8 RS Chassis Weissach now that's a real Turbo and not the usual mobile Gin Palace.......

Technically, the 965 was a 959 variant that was to deliver 95% of the 959, but be mass produced. It never went anywhere due to production costs and hence was binned. However, 965 was used for a heap of part numbers. Most people now use 965 to refer to the 964 turbo.
