You could phone the parts guys near me in, Design 911. Not sure whether they'll have them, but they might be able to point you in the right direction.

Just checked their website and Pagids are listed on there. www.design911.co.uk/index.htm?Region=UK

Can get them for me by tomorrow if I need them but with the advice given I won't be needing them for this first venture out in the 993.

We discussed how much pad I had presently (lots from my quick check) and how hard I was going to be pushing (not very is the answer until I have a better feel for the dynamics of a 911).... so I'm going to hold off until the car goes in for a service after this session - then I will probably buy new RS29 pads all around (yes I know they're noisy), and some new discs as spares so I can fit the stuff myself if I get caught short next time.

Thanks gents

Tom, I have never had any trackday braking problems using standard pads on a 993RS, they easily last 10+ trackdays from new. From personal experience if you are using the car on the road more than track I wouldn't even bother moving over to the pagid.

Would agree Performance Braking are excellent but Pagid RS29's could never be described as dirt cheap. The most cost effective way of buying the pads is to go to www.rennstore.com and Speak to Craig to arrange shipping so as to minimise the VAT and customs duty. I have used them and they are excellent

Rennstore prices are for the RS19's and are v cheap.

Not sure about their prices for the newer RS 29's though

Give Craig a call/email, you will be pleasantly surprised on RS29 prices.
