Having finally got zee German running again - I've noticed thru it's stiff suspension how crap the road surfuces are getting. Holes, bumps, tar ripples etc etc.

From what I can remember it costs around £25k to "speed bump" an average street. How many potholes do you think they could fill for £25k - just a thought ?

Local council here wouldn't dare fill a pothole! They are far to busy installing chicains on every estate and narrowing the roads in "traffic calming scheems" wasting money. Strange though how they dont calm the traffic, they screw up the traffic flow and make drivers irate and damage vehicals and injure people when the inevitable happens! Why cant these people see that they are making MORE problems than they ever cure, road planners here in the midlands must be retarded mentaly!

they peoples concentration away from looking for dangers, like kids runing accross the street and divert them to speed bumps. im sure that fuel consumption / emmissions are only increased.
The council and government should be run by the PH members (while sober, if certain people are ever sober)
