I have asked on the GE forum. Theres another one, although much larger, to be found here:

http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Number/5

If you turn on the community layers (bottom left) and zoom in, you;ll be able to access the discussions in the forum.

Looking at a road map, this is Osterley Park area - doesn't look like anything suspicious is going on there. If you turn on 'Roads' the B454 goes right through the black rectangle. Must just be data drop-out on the map?

If your look on FlashEarth/Google Local it shows a low resolution 'cell' here, as if a frame has been lost from the high resolution image.

If you go to Google Maps and put in the same co-ordinates you will see that same area as a low res image surrounded by high res images. It's just an area that hasn't been covered or no image is available.

Hey, I used to play over there as a kid!!! Bottom of Trumpers Way used to be a pig farm, cycle across the railway tracks and across that field into Windmill Lane and I used to go fishing in a couple of lakes there. I assure you that other than a donkey and a few goats there's nothing to see there! move on now. Rich....
