F40 Competizione GT
Discussion
Just browsing the Bonhams catalogue and saw this F40. Pretty amazing history as it's first owner was the man who designed the Mugello racing circuit and was a personal friend of the great man himself - Enzo Ferrari. I searched the F40 Da Corsa book and it's indeed in there - anyone going to bid? Seems pretty cheap for what it is.

For interest I've decided to go to the aution on Saturday - searched the web and came up with quite a few references to this car.
If I had the money, would it be a decent buy I wonder? [The real thing, not the toy below!!]

Some intresting metal at the auction, I'll assume the Jaguar F1 is a rolling chassis only. It'll be intresting to see what the round-the-world Rover goes for. The Merak sems a steal. A friend of mine has a Monkey Bike he was thinking of restoring this summer, there's one there for a top price of £1600 unrestored !
