4200GT Code Card warning

I have 4200GT and I bought a new ECU after losing the old one, anyway whenever I try to start the car, it start and shows me the Security\Codecard warning light and the engine turn off after 5-10 secs, anyone can help me with this?

Don't you need the master key to get it reprogrammed?

I do have the keys, but how can I reprogramm it ?

Think you'll have to visit an official Maserati dealer.

Its designed to stop theft. The only way is a dealer as it would be wrong for anyone here to short cut the theft protection system.

Out of interest, how did you come to "lose" the old ECU?

Maserati of Kuwait, psychos! they want $11,000 for that? I'm not crazy enough to pay that amount..
