How do I get rid of them?
Every time I start my PC and connect to the Net I get a dialer access prompt pop-up on my screen and a desktop shortcut appears. Norton identifies it as a dialer and suggest allowing it to be automtically deleted, which I do, but it still returns.
Added to this is what sounds like my internal modem trying to make a connection every few minutes. I am on broadband and no connection is established by whatever is doing it, but I want to get it off my PC.
Any techies able to help me?

If its XP. Put it in safe mode when you do this, to give it a helping hand.
