Number Plates

Having recently bought a private plate I need to get new plates made up. Anyone know anywhere particularly good or less expensive. Its for a cerbera so need the special rear plate. I live in Bournemouth / New Forestt area.

A while ago someone mentioned www.fancyplates.com just remember to place order stating rear plate without nicalite.

I juts got mine from www.fancyplates.com

Specify TVR backlit for the rear in the dropdown menu.

I also specified a strange size front plate, 430mm x 80mm.

Total cost was £43 inc VAT and P&P. However I did have to wait nearlt 2 weeks for them because they had no stock of the backlit material.

I've just bought a personal reg for when my Tamora comes (STILL 2 months to wait!) and went on the Fancy Plates site.
Looks good, as you can build the plates online.
Didn't know you coud order the back plates 'special' though.

Yep.... when you use the constructor, make sure you use the Fancyplates one, not the standard.

When you go onto step 2, TVR standard size is in the rear dropdown menu.

I got a set for my Chim (back light rear plate) from my local main TVR dealer (HL Gorner)(standard style text), cost about £25 and 1 week delivery.

I thought they only did carpet these days?
I love Hawthorns - all there ads used to say 'only' before the mileage. Even if a car had done 50K in a year then the ad would say 'only 50,000 miles'.

I just ordered a set from Fancyplates.
If you aren't absolutely sure about the font or if you want to play with spacing or how to make a B look not too illegally like an 8 etc (for shows only, obviously ) give them a call. They will create mock ups for you and email them as GIF files to give you an idea of what it will look like. They don't advertise this service but I'm glad I called them, they gave me a lot of help.
But, you do need to chase them if you don't hear from them or get your plates sharpish. They do have a tendency to sort of forget you
