Any chance of an after market company designing and manufacturing water and condensation free front and rear light clusters to our cars? TVR just seem to be ignoring this problem. Visiting various dealerships I have noticed all their latest demo sagari have water in their rear light clusters. Surely if TVR are serious in improving quality they should start sourcing vacuum sealed units?

Funny you should mention about headlight/taillight clusters.
A couple of months back i was dismantling an exibition stand at the Excel centre in London, next to our stand was a company that make lots of the Lexus style lights for the max power mob, I had to admit it that they did look the muts!!
We got chatting, and i just let it slip in that i drive a TVR, his reply was...I was at the TVR factory in Blackpool last week demostrating our sealed unit head lamps.......
So watch this space guys, perhaps soon we will have lights that keep the water out.

Someone who had been at the factory recently told me that they are looking into designing a self contained headlamp unit.

Dont worry its not just TVRs that have the problem. Drove into work this morning following a new vw beattle ant its rear lights were half full with water. GFs mini(which I borrowed for the day today) also has a bit of water ingress in the high visibility break light.

Damn, and I though it was a unique feature found only on Tivs. Even Less exclusivity now.
