Had a pipercross induction kit fitted to my exige s2 on friday.

1) What a noise! Anyone thinking of doing this i would say definitely go for it! I burst out laughing the first few times i put my foot down on the way home.

2) Am going to bedford in a few weeks and am now a little worried about passing the noise test. Does anyone here know what db i might record with stage one and pipercross? Or even know how many db the pipercross might add as I believe i would be down at 96-98 without the pipercross?

Thanks

You should be OK with that combination, provided the Cat's still fitted. They are good fun, aren't they?

It was the viper Bob. Believe the main difference is £50 plus the viper has the filter the engine end whereas the velocity has it air scoop end. Might be wrong there though. I wanted it supplying and installing by a lotus dealer as my car is under warranty and this not being an offical part etc. My local dealer wouldnt supply/fit any induction kit but a dealer an hour away would and recommended this one. But i can definitely recommend the noise from it! So long as it doesnt get me kicked off bedford next month.....

How much was the induction kit fully fitted?

Have an Exige S on order and trying to find out if I can fit an induction kit to it as drove an S2 exige with stage 2 and induction and sounded very menacing

It was £239 supply + £65 fit + vat.

As i mentioned, it was from a main lotus dealer so if warranty is not an issue then i'm sure a better deal could be had elsewhere.

I've got Stage 2 with Pipercross Velocity system on my Exige and it sounds fantastic.Got the Pipercross for £250 inc vat and local lotus dealer Stratstones fitted it for £50 inc vat.Best £300 I've spent. If you've got Exige / 111R you have to have one.
