Hi all you piston head fans . Its like being 10 years old again but istill have another 6 days and 6 sleepless nights before i get my hands on my first TVR its a 97 R chim 450 in halcyon midas pearl . Ive had many week end cars over the last 10 years Lancia evo's legnum vr4 and my latest jaguar xjr . But iv;e never been more excited about getting a car as i have about this one . Most of my friends think im mad,but guess what they all want to have a go. i have just joined the tvr owners club and cant wait untill i go to a few meets and see some of your wonderfull cars.
thats all for now Jon.............

Congratulations. I got my Chim 450 three weeks ago - absolutely fantastic fun. I'm driving my week-end car 6 days per week! Enjoy it, and take notice of the warnings regarding driving in the wet.

Bought mine 14 months ago and, no matter how bad a day I have at work, getting in the car and hearing that lovely growl soon puts the smile back.

hello and welcome,
I've had mine for five months and it's the best thing i've ever done.
Don't waste a nice car by leaving it in the garage though it needs to be out but take it easy in the wet and take the roof off in the dry.

Picked mine up just this weekend and frankly its .
Am driving it to work this week as it has a 30 day warranty on all items so want to check it out.
Do be prepared for wet weather trickiness though. Just this morning gently coming away from the lights in second hit a pothole, foot twitched, wheelspin, sideways
All good though and sorted itself out... Heart beating a little faster though!

Picked up my 450 last saturday and loving it, you won't regret it! Only thing now is working out what has actually gone wrong and what is just 'character'.

Go easy driving it but not as hard to live with as some make out.

Congrats! Had my 500 nearly 3 years, and it still feels like I've just bought it. It never ceases to put a big smile on my face whether driving it or looking at it!
