Card Merchanting Services

I've been trying to find someone to offer us this service for sometime, without success....the problem seems to be the nature of the business for which I require it - short term finance and debt collection.
In our debt collection business we are continually being asked if we can accept a card payment to settle a debt. Equally, we run a money shop/cheque cashing business where the opportunity to offer cash advances against a credit/debit card would be a useful addition.
Our bank have told us that they do not provide Merchanting Services for this business sector....and while no one else has spelled it out as clearly, all other applications have met a brick wall too.....
So, just wondered if anyone on here has any suggestions/contacts...??

Im not sure this will work but Secpay offer a credit card facilty online www.secpay.com it may be worth a look
Have you tried paypal.

Im not recommending it
but it might be a solution as you can take card payments via paypal on a website if someone sets it up for you.
