I don't work in recruitment but work with recruitment consultants; it seems that every week I meet someone who owns a Tiv or is on Piston Heads.

Just a thought

What yer trying to say????!!!!!

I work in Recruitment, and I'm proud of what I do. I'm afraid the industry is stereotyped with a bad rep,

but then again all techies are freaks..........................

I'm preaching to the converted then?

I was making a point about preconceived ideas about what people are like just because of the job they do!

I've sold a couple of recruitment companies, and I have to say that it's a great sector to be in for making money. The GP's not brilliant (circa 20% on average,) but the overheads are also negligible, giving excellent ROCE.

We'll have to have a chat sometime. I'm the MD of a young recruitment company who have a fairly aggressive growth / exit strategy.

I'm looking to get a recruitment firm running this year. Trying to convince a very capable agent I know at a bigger agency to come and run it for me.

Big Al.
