Had a good offer on my 360, the guy wants to part ex his 355. Just wondering if you guys think this is a good price for the car.

He wants £49k for his 355 GTS 1997 P, Red with Crema, Manual, FFSH (last serviced 25th May - may need to another straight away), 37k miles, CD player, Red Calipers.

Good price for me to take in a p/x ? Want to sell it quite quick ? (or maybe use it myself, never owned a 355)

Any opinions would be great, thanks guys

Verdi's are advertising a 96' @ £47500 and a 97' @ £52000, both with a lot less miles and fresh service. Screen prices. Would be a lot to give in PX, obviously depending on the total deal value.

Yeah, just been looking around, it seems its not that good a price even if i didnt have to get it serviced, and it could be quite a big one, who knows. I think i might get the cash part up a bit, if i do this deal.

Thanks

Stimo,

Let bygones be bygones with ufoufo and get him to tell the guy how much his Ferrari is worth!

Might make you a few bob more...

(Joking )

Seriously though, not a Ferrari owner but have been watching the prices carefully for the right time to buy for a while, it would all come down to how much the 360 owes you and how much above/below/around the book price it is. Of course if the 360 is £5k over the book price, making him pleased by giving him £4k over book might be a deal clincher whilst still leaving you 'up'.

that is a good bit over priced. He needs to service the car (unknown cost, at least 2K if it needs belts), then put it up for £47K IMO.

I can tell you that the PX price on my perfect 99 355B F1 with 20K miles and FDSH was 48K

That car is worth about late 30s if you offer the money requested you wil never sell it. You will be stuck trying to sell to the trade more likely anyway! and many 355 for sale as well

Its going through them, they have advised me already. Im just getting all the info i can as i dont know too much about 355 prices.

The 355 they have at the moment is probably the best example in the country. The owner really spared no expense in its up keep and it has never ever been driven in rain.

IMHO - Too much Chris but really depends on what he's paying for yours. As we all know prices have slumped recently although they seem to of found a level now.

Whats it like cosmetically? Stone chips , scuffed leather etc? Also, is there a thin line of corrosion behind the doors where the C pillar joins the body?

Chris' car is bang on the nose for retail money (trade being 10k less), ideally you'd take the part-x in at Trade against your retail priced car, but is usually a compromise
