Wedge servicing - around Cambridge or Kings Lynn?
Discussion
Offord are quite good and will still do wedges - although their per hour charges have crept up over time and I suspect are close to main dealers now. They can pick up from the Cambridge area.
It's been a very long time since I used Kerridge's, but if they have experienced mechanics, they'll remember what to do.
I've never used the Stansted lot.
Guy - whereabouts do you live - wanna come to the Cambs region meet?

Unfortunately my first and last visit to my local TVR ans SAAB specialist wasn't very successful. They didn't have any idea how to set the engine up, or the other things I asked them to look at. The only thing they did do was change the fuel filter - the car broke down a couple of weeks later as the fuel pump earth they'd disturbed went bad.

I did chat to them - they wern't sure as to whether or not they wanted to get involved in the older stuff.
I,m a little supprised at Sebring's atitude as they have only recently started dealing with TVR's, I would have thought they would be bending over backwards to get in with any TVR owners.

Yes, me too. It would have been perfect as my commute from Cambs to kings Lynn takes me will take me past their door twice a day. They also want to charge £45.00 an hour -isn't that a bit steep considering the non town centre property overhead! Maybe they wanted me to give up on the idea of a wedge and buy one of their shiny new ones!
[quote=adam quantrill]I think Offord are well above £45//hr.
Cambs meet varies in location, I'll have to look it up, first Sunday of the month.
Car not needed - come and kick some tyres![let's make a date for the April meet as I'm going to have stuff on my plate with the move until then - but looking fwd to it! /quote]
