Before anyone makes a silly remark, its a car.

A friend of mine has a 0 milage Lamborghini Diabolo 1997.

What is it worth?

Where is the best place to sell it? ebay? Auto Trader? Specialist dealer? Auction?

SOR at a dealer.

Move this to the Lambo group. There was a thread about someone looking for a Diablo last week.

Zero miles, 9yr old cars? Nothing to anyone who wants to use them, other than an extreme discount over a proper car.

To a museum or collector, maybe something.

Agreed. My gut instinct would be to ask why it had been bought and done zero miles, and some proof to back that up. I have seen a 20 year old Ferrari being sold at a premium with zero(ish) miles, but the providence of the car was A1 and it had a full Ferrari service history where it was kept up to date even though the car was unused.

I wouldnt expect a car which has 'slept' for 7 years to be running perfectly and without some problems with seals etc.

Its in Dubai and owned by someone who bought more than one at once, it was brought over to him on a transporter and has been in his garage ever since. He needs to make some room for his most recent purchases.

Crazy, I know.

Doesn't sound believable to be honest. Not saying your lying, just as a buyer I wouldn't believe such a story.

The main problem is, people who buy cars and store them for X amount of years are rare. And they tend to either trade in their cars when they make "new purchases", or use reputable dealerships to move them on. After all they usually have some clout with the dealerships they made these new purchases with.

Without some very good provenance, 0 miles with a story like this, is worth less then high mileage with a service history.

If you want to drive it, I'd still say walk (RUN, very quickly) away.

If you want to sink your money into something nice to look at, buy some pop art, a classic painting or a year with something like Julia Roberts out of Pretty Woman.

A dealer will put a huge tag on it and believe any of them at your peril. Then when you come to sell it youself with 0 miles on it a year ir three later will offer you tghe same advice as has been offered here.

The standard Diablo is simply not that special, and will never be deemed so.

If you really want a Diablo to look at (and even be able to drive it without killing its value), buy a GT/GTR.

Hmm... What about the 6ltr or late SV's ? Half the price, and twice as marketable than GT/GTR
