Do the newer cars (yota powered) also have those "problems" I think its more a design failure!? I've read a lot of that small problem, most other cars who are in the rain or what don't have those problems, at least not that fast, so it have to do with a design failure? of the braking system and some type of pads that are used?, and because of the pads are on even when not braking go on towards to the discs! strange because when the brake pedal is not in use there should be no pressure in the brakefluid system...so what is causing the pressure on the piston?? and what wheels are involved(when its the rears it could be your parking style using the handbrake?! but when fronts are also sticky how is that happen??)

No I don't think you have mate. See my post. Lots of brake tests and high speed runs will help. Probably a bit naughty but some gentle left-foot braking helped clean mine off quicker as I was driving along.

Having said that, I suspect someone will come along in a minute and say I'm talking shite and they're shagged

I also brake left when driving out the washbox to get them cleaned and dry before I take a fast blast in futere never forget that first time when I not did that long time ago...when driving behind a other fast car...then we have to brake and I almost had none but when your lucky you learn all about those things and how importand it's not to forget to try the brakes good...

Had similar just before xmas - Pagid RS42 pads on OEM cross drill disks.
Wonderwheels etch clearner then wash, run to dry, park in garage with brakes off for 3 weeks until next track day.

Get in and there is lots of eeking and squeeking and general uneaveness from the front brakes on the road. Thrumming and general poor performance on track - found outline of pads rust etched into front disks even after 40 HARD (smell your brakes) laps of Bedford.

Local specialist swilliams reconed that the disks are too worn to skim so new OME cross drill disks for £150 and life is good again.

maybe the Asbest? stuff they had in pads in the earlyer days are not so bad at all, only for health those are forbidden now a days...
hm...guess the compound where the pads are maked off is not perfect? there is one thing in that that is very agressive I say...but what? are there also some lotus owners who don't hav ethose things? and what brake's do you have? the alu discs? or other brand pads?
