All,

The oil in my Cerbie has gone a bit thin, and as I am going to be doing some miles in over the Xmas period I need an oil change today, I have tried newtown motors they cannot do it until the new year.

Can anyone recommend anywhere in the Cardiff area who can change the oil today??

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Try these. They were recommended to me.

Roath Garage
Moy Rd Roath Park
Cardiff South Glamorgan CF24 4TD
Tel: 029 2046 5374

Never tried them myself but apart from Newtown Motors I don't know of anywhere else to go, West of the Severn Bridge.

Let me know how you get on if you use them.

They are not TVR specialists in any way but a good mechanic can be found at Babbages in Llanishen Village.

I would definately use Roath Gararge before Babagges. Peter at Roath garage has been dealing with TVR's for quite a while and has devoloped a good follwing. As for Babbages, take you wellies if you intend using them and IMO they have no knowlege of TVR's. Plotloss, what in your opinion constitues a TVR specialist and why do you claim that Roath Garage cannot be classed as one? Have you ever used them?

Bit of a misunderstanding!

I was saying that Babbages arent TVR specialists, but IMO they are decent fellas.

Obviously someone with TVR knowledge is going to be preferable but I was just offering alternatives.

Matt.

All,

Many thanks for the replies.

I have used Roath today, and Peter there was a good chap, went that extra mile to help, did it while I waited explained what he had done and ensured the car worked before giving it back to me.

Also a very good price when you £28 labour for an hour and a halfs work, and parts on top.

Very happy.

Many thanks and hope all you Cardiff people enjoy Christmas and the New year.
