Worth 30k ...You can buy a decent 3.2 Clubsport for that!!!!!
Sorry Francis, joking aside....
As you have other cars I assume you are getting a classic policy on the RS?
I had a classic policy with agreed value,,if you send photos and details of your car into Steve Kevlin at Porsche club, he will agree a value with you...which I am sure will be nearer if not above 30k. Just don't mention the badgering incidents

yeah for 30 i could have bought a nice boxter too
actually i've got a few months left on an existing policy so instead of losing the no claims im just transfering to the rs for a few quid. after that i'll need the no claims for project uberbeetle2 and i can start a seperate policy with agreed value & track day insurance on the rs.

CB, I understood Steve K was the only one currently at PCGB who could give an "official" agreed valuation on an individual car that would be accepted by insurance companies. Has that policy changed very recently?
After all many of us know what they are worth, we also have an idea that an insurance company would perhaps look to pay less on a 15 year old car than perhaps it is worth. Hence the real need for a solid agreed value IMHO etc....
