As above! Got GT3 seats in my 993, now need a baby seat to go in them.

If your kid is older than 3, I'd recommend the Porsche Zoom base+backrest. Available from Carnewal... excellent quality, originally a Britax unit that is [unfortunately] only available in the US.

I use this in the Recaros, and it is a perfect fit because of the narrow base.

Alternatively, I hear good things about the baby seats made by Recaro themselves...

only 6 months - will have to wait until 9 months old though.

Can you turn the airbag off?

Basically I think you need to go to John Lewis or similar and start trying a few to see which will fit.

I've never put a forward facing seat in the front of my 993 as I can't turn the airbag off, and I don't have GT3 seats anyway, so ... not much help sorry.

I guess the GT3 seats mean you can't use the rear seats?

This is the problem. Airbag can be disabled no problem.

Well, as I said first I think a trip to John Lewis/MotherCare is in order, you'll just have to test 'em to finf one that will fit.

However, if it were me I'd take the passenger GT3 seat out and replace it with the standard seat, so the rears can be used.

Apparently Recaro are launching a new one next month. I'll post my findings.

Tertius,
The GT3 does not have seats in the rear. No seat belts means objects in the back are free to move. Definitely not a good place for baby seats in the back of a GT3... unless you have the seat belts retrofitted (which an OPC will not do).

Ace's car is not a GT3 - its a 993 turbo with GT3 seats (in the front).
