Radio 4's Today programme are doing a thing at the moment where we're invited to nominate:

- One person who should be summarily ejected from the UK
- One person from abroad who should be invited to Britain and offered citizenship.

In the first category I nominate Ken Livingstone

I'm struggling for inpiration on the second category... suggestions from R4 include Nelson Mandela, Bob Dylan, Shane Warne (?)...

Suggestions?

Out: Cherie Blair (Tony would surely follow her as he does in everything else)
In: Kylie sounds good, or Natalie Portman.

Warne would be no good because we would still have 10 hopeless cases

No, no, no, not for the cricket team, to replace Alistair Campbell... he's at least got some skill at spinning.

You know, I just don't see the fascination with Kylie. Am I the only one? She's virtually english anyway, as are all australians.

Anyway -

out - Blair

in - no one. we've quite enough immigrants, thanks.

How do you think he developed such powers of tact and diplomacy if not through listening to Humphrys, Redhead, Naughtie and the like???

(I bet I know what he'd like to do to Linda Snell, an' all!)

I'm not sure who Linda Snell is but intuition tells me she needs shutting up. With a meat cleaver.
