Anybody fancy karting in Newquay?

There's a great karting track at St. Eval nr Newquay, Cornwall. Main track is about 1.2 miles and they have 75mph karts. Wondered if anyone would be up for a Grand Prix day in the Spring or Summer?

Sure thing fella! Not exactly local, but defintely make-able

I will be working pretty much every Saturday between mid-April thru to October, but Sundays are much more open. If it happens soon-ish, I can make mid-weeks as well to avoid the holiday rushes as it were

Well, two's a start. I'll get in touch with the guys that run the circuit and see what sort of num bers are needed for our own Grand Prix. Last year some Porsche guys did the Grand Prix thing and have booked again for this year - not a bad recommendation.
Maybe if we got some practise in we could even organise some sort of Lotus v Porsche day?

Yeah, get some info mate - I'm sure we can all get some numbers up!

The Lotus v Porsche thing could be good at some point too... but a crack at it ourselves is the first step for sure

I'd be interested, not too far for me and some good roads before the emmets arrive with their caravans. Once we have an idea of dates I may be able to persuade some of the other Elise owners at work to participate, maybe the odd POXSTER driver if we opt for the challenge.
