I am currently finalising importing my Elise S2 and I need to change the driving lamps for LHD units ... but the dealer quoted me £1,400 !! this seems very expensive, anybody know any cheaper solutions ?

Don't know if this is any use, but you've had no other responses so here goes...

how about looking on one of the euro elise parts site ... elise parts.nl or something?

presumably as they are left handers too they'll be able to sort you out for less than 1200!!!

aren't the lamps a standard part from something else?

My understanding is that the S2 has headlamps that can be set to work on either side of the road, there's a little lever that sets the dip beam pattern to either left or right hand driving mode . . . I'm sure it'll be in the owners manual . . .

IMHO your dealer is yanking your chain . . .

I'm assuming you mean the headlights, as the driving lamps (in the mouth of the car) are non sided IIRC . . .
