Hi all,
have been getting around 16-17mpg from my Chimaera 450, using it to get to work etc - country driving but changing between 30 and 60 zones and roundabouts etc.
This only gives a range of around 180 miles on a tank.

Used it for a long run last Sunday, nearly all motorway, of about 230miles. Was raining heavily too so light with the right foot! Finished the trip with 1/4tank left and turned in an average of around 24.8mpg!
Guys, is this a record?

On the motorway, I've definatly had 25mpg in my 500. Which is rather good.

But in traffic and around town, 30/40mph limits...its bad...very bad...

Had 29 quite often, 31mpg once on boring runs where you're restricted by the traffic volume to 70 - 80mph. Averaged 24mpg on a 2,600 cross Europe blat including lots of Alpine passes

22-24mpg in normal traffic/mixed driving.

I'm with Trefor, high 20s if you are at a constant 80 or so (29.8 over 610mls the best so far) however round town low 20s/high teens, Mid to low teens on a blast.

Warning, My fuel gauge never reads less than Qtr full except when ignition is off. I HAve put 53 litres to fill indicating 1L left (100 miles in France before I found an open petrol station). On a 500 across Europe managed 23. Was better until the autobahn's and alpine passes were used! Normally 18 - 22 mpg
