When analysing data, I use IF - the only problem is that I want a blank cell if the test is false - how do I achieve this? All I seem to get is 0 - which leads to cluttered spreadsheets with loads of meaningless zero's.

It's bound to be a simple response, but I have searched hard for the answer to no avail.

Thanks folk

Be careful that this will be treated as Null so may cause problems later when using other functions. Especially if you want the IF statement to return values if True.

Better to leave the 0 and go to Tools > Options > View
At the bottom you'll see Zero Values - uncheck the box.

Just IMO

Thanks Spotlight and Vee. Spreadsheet is much cleaner (and clearer) now.
