997 Turbo TIP faster then MANUAL

I had a discussion with a guy who says that TIP actually shifts faster... which is obviously BS.

I read somewhere about different gear rations but cant find the link...
Does anyone have any links to gear ratios?

it is true though that the tip is quicker 0-62 than the manual in the 997 turbo but i dont know the link to ratios.
