I'm thinking about getting privacy glass fitted to Mrs Dans Audi Estate... I know its a bit bling, but the kids sulk if they have the sun in their eyes and I would hope it helps keep the car cooler when it is parked.

anybody got any recommendations? suggestions? and idea what it would cost for an A6 estate?

Cheers Dan

Yeah got a couple of them... trouble is doesn't matter how carefully you place them, it's always just in the wrong place for the sun

there is screen tech

www.screentechbristol.co.uk/

im getting my windows done today(tuesday), about £200 for the rear and front, the fronts are only ment to be 70% min by law but there is no limit on the rear!! my brother has had his windows done with screentech and it was excellent!maybe worth looking in to! would keep the car cooler in the summer(i think) and it can deters thieves!

If you want to reduce heat in the car, you'll need something like v kool or llumar. It's more expensive than standard tints but infinitely better and you don't need to go too extreme on the darkness %, 30 to 50% should be fine.
