What would be best Compact Digi Camera?
Discussion
Looking at getting a compact digi camera for taking various pics.
I need it to photo the things I make and for Matthew to use when we go to the car shows etc. We currently have an Olympus E20 so just want something to fit in bag/pocket.
Needs to have optical zoom and be able to print up to A3+ - don't ask for much do I
What would "the fountain of knowledge" recommend, doesn't need to be current crop just a decent piece of kit.
Thanks
Sharon

Hi Sharon,
I would personaly go for a Canon IXUS, there are several models, but through experience I know the 700 and 750 are a great camera, and if you want something a little more advanced the Powershot S80 is a great camera with loads of nice features (8.0MP) and its a good pocket size .....I just ordered one yesterday!
It is always worth doing a little research!
Good luck

I have a Sony DSC-P200. Its 7.1 megapixles, Zeiss lens, fits in my jeans pocket and survives being dropped down the back of Vodka bars in Warsaw (one of the tests yet to be implemented at "What Camera"
. It cost £200 from Jessops and I wouldn't swap it for anything - including a DSLR.
Oh and it takes pictures like these ...
(Think the model is being upgraded at the moment so bargains to be had maybe?)
