If you can fit it yourself or get someone to fit it then you can order one from here:

http://trackcarsolutions.net/shop/ind

Price includes postage.

TVR lot in Silverstone quoted me roughly £300 for one yesterday. However, as I have only owned the car for less than 24 hours I don't know if that good or not, but it seems to be from previous cars I have owned.

Hi

When I get my clutch slave cylinder sorted I'll bring mine down so you can see what you think.

That would be a perfect solution if we could sort something out soon.

You dont seem to be having much luck with yours so far, i guess iv been lucky so far nearly 3 months into ownership!

Hi Ed,

Don't wish to be a pain and i appreciate you are very keen to get your car up and running but do you have a time frame as to when a possible swop could be made.

The reason i ask is my car has developed a leak on the exhaust manifold and to cut down on labour costs it would be ideal if i get the sports exhaust fitted at the same time. And one very good reason is im only going to have the car for a few more months!!

Thanks

Sorry Andy

I probably won't be able to do anything before the end of next week.

As I am sorting the clutch slave cylinder out myself I am not sure when I will be able to do it.

To cap it all the MOT runs out tomorrow..........!

Sorry you're not going to keep the car.

I will let you know as soon as I'm ready.

Hopefully in the next fortnight.

Sorry to barge in - but is a Chimaera 'sports' going to sound a bit different to a Cerbie ? .... or am I missing something. Andy - why don't you come along to the Bristol TVRCC meet (3rd Sunday of month) - there were 2 Cerbies with very LOUD exhausts out on Sunday!

Paul.

A chimaera has a totally different engine and so the exhaust sounds totally different. Like comparing a 911 with an M3.

hi,

keep an eye out for a second hand set of pipes, i got a pair for £170 off ebay and fitted them with a mate.

they sound great and are a real must.

be careful when you take off the back box as too much effort can break the welds and ruin the standard can which you may want later on.

cheers

Hi Andy,

I've still got my cats in with a sports exhaust. Youre welcome to have a listen and I only live down the road at Burnham

Iv decided having read many threads to go for a sports exhaust and decat too. Will be getting the work done at a garage as it has a leak which needs to be fixed at the same time.
