Off to a local car upholsterer in the morning to get a quote to do the lot in leather and new carpets. So start guessing the price and see who wins a sniff of me seats!!!!

Firm near to me told me they'd re-trim all my leather for 'about' £1500. They do a lot of work for Mazda, constantly got newish RX8's there. Good quality work.

Well I went from this on my 69 Lotus Elan Plus 2

Then windows out, headlining out, all seats door cards and carpets

Ended up like this in full orange/black leather, best quality carpets bound in orange and new leather door cards trims and full headlining, all cost £2,200.

I went to a local near me and was quoted £1000 for the carpet and £1000 for the retrim.

Gave it a miss, and did the carpet myself and elbow grease on the cleaning, as either me or the dog would only get it dirty again
