Gaiter colour poll

It the interior of your S looked like this (no cheeky comments please 
)
...and you were going to get a new geatstick gaiter would you choose:
a) cream
or
b) blue (to go with the carpets, which you cannot see clearly from the photo)
(Since the photo I've also replaced the hand-break lever and gear knob with alloy ones)
Oh, and Yes Roy, one of these days I will buy that glitter ball...

Agree it might not be to everyone's taste 
Once the 'wood' needed replacing and quotes started coming in from £600+ (only car, daily driver, home project was not an option) I decided a bit of customisation was in order - and the price difference was spent on new suspension!

I've just replaced my gearstick and handbrake gaiters with black ones which match the top of the dash. My interior colour is very similar to yours and I even have the aluminium dash so I'll post a couple of pictures when I get home this evening and you can see what it'll look like.

What about thick tinfoil.....?
My interior is cream and needs a new handbrake gaitor. The gearstick gaitor was replaced in cream before I got the car but it's a slightly different cream, although a very close match, to the rest of the interior and it looks wrong. I'll be going for burgundy on both to match the rest of the car so if I were you I'd go for blue, blue, or blue....!

didn't know TVR ever did a standard interior
personally I like the brushed stainless steel look
personally I would stick with the gaitor to match the rest ie cream as if the blue is slightly different it may not tie too well with the carpets and then look a bit of a bodge...

IMHO as you are only changing the gaitor and maybe the hand brake.... it would look even more of a bodge if you cannnot get an excat match on the cream leather...... ever seen a car fixed with miss matching paint work of the same colour, looks
