I recently sold an 03 plated red T350c.
It had 21000 when I got rid (December'05). It had a pistonhead sticker on the rear screen (at top), and also a couple of lemans stickers on the rear screen.
Haven't seen or heard of it since & would like to know where it went.
yes its your car can you tell me anything about it any problems
As I said before, I got rid of the car when it had 21,000 on the clock, so can't comment on anything after this.
The car has never had any engine problems/rebuilds.
It did take a bit of a knock to the front end & ended up having a new 'nose'& radiator fitted. All works were carried out by Moto-Craft @ Pudsey, although TVR had to supply the parts so i'm sure if you did a check they'd tell you exactly what was required.
Had a new clutch fitted at 18,000 & a new petrol tank fitted around same time (design problem which came to view).
Wheels had been refurbished around 3 months ago & were in mint condition when sold.
When I was getting rid, I was getting trade in figures of around 21-23k.
At 24k its now due its major service & in all honesty was in the need of new tyres all round when I got rid, so unless its had both of these then you're looking at around £2k to carry these out.
In summary, I didn't get rid of the car because of any problems, I got rid because I wanted a change & was slightly concerned about the mileage & what I though may be an imminent rebuild. I could have kept it and put a TVR used vehicle warranty on it for £1k but thought due to the service, etc coming up it made sense to get shut.
Personally, I'd still be wanting to know where its been for the last 2 months, as I p/x'd it against a Nissan pickup & I know the dealer was offloading it elsewhere immediately, although I don't know where. As long as its been looked after during this period I would have no problems with it.
Value ? Suspect in auction around £20k ?

As I said, if you could get it for less than £20k I think you would be bagging yourself a bit of a bargain, and surely there ain't that many people going to be bidding on a TVR without knowing its history ?
TVR dealers were offering me less than Nissan or Porsche so don't think they're wanting stock at the moment. What really annoyed me is the fact that my local TVR dealer offered me less p/x against a brand new Sagaris/Tuscan2S (both north of £50k), than Nissan did against an 18k Navara.
Where's the auction ?

So, a damaged alloy & stone-chipped front (which on a 2 year old year isn't that odd is it ?).
The place that did the wheels for me originally will re-do the damaged wheel (assuming it ain't too bad) for circa £50.
As for the stonechips, well I knew about these anyway & had approached Harrogate for a quote. If I kept the car I would have had this work done whilst in for its 24k service. They quotes me around £750+VAT (although I could get it done cheaper elsewhere).
So by the time you service, sort 'damage' & put a new set of tyres on it you're looking at a bill of around £2.5k to £3k. Add another 1k for a warranty & you've for a very nice car for the money.
All you need to do now is get the car in auction for say not more than 20k & its a bit of a bargain IMO.
