Exhaust Noise -help!

Since the Brands Hatch track day last month i've noticed that i have a rasping noise inside the car from about 3000rpms. I've inspected the exhaust system as much as i can and not found any loose joints or cracks etc, all the structural supports seem fine so has anyone else suffered this or got any ideas of what i could check over before i give the factory a call?

Same thing happened to mine a few months after I bought it. Unfortunately it is probably the insides of the back box giving out, and will need replacing. I think the factory used to weld them, but advised replacing mine.
From memory thought the box wasn't too badly priced.

Check the turbo heat shields, they can resonate at around 2800-3200rpm.

Otherwise it could well be down to a blown exhaust baffle. They can be easily welded back in place by anyone half handy with a welder, and were always covered in the 1st year by warranty claims when I had the same issue with my '3R' replacement exhaust on my 2.5l car.

I've had another look and still can't find anything conclusive. It could be a baffle but the car has only done 4 thousand miles so i would have thought they would have lasted a little longer?! Having driven it again the car seems to be lacking a little power as well, so i'm wondering if its turbo related?! I think a call to the factory might be in order!

The quickest I had a baffle go was within the first 4 miles of driving after getting my car back from Noble, they did later change the design though and once replaced it was fine.

I had both baffles and cat go on my previous 3R within 6K. It was under warranty and sorted with no bother.
