New wing mirrors - photos

Couldn't sleep last night so went down and fitted my Noblemods mirrors. Less than an hour per door to install and look the nuts! In fact, I think they make the car look lower.

I'm board. And I just realised, not very talented at taking pictures! Just lookid through loads I took last night and there are 4 that I have kept, and one of them I just posted in P&V is rubbish!!

Still, at least I have got all the best kit to take them on.

Have you got them tilted differently?

In that first, head on shot, the right hand one as you look at it is rather thiner in width than the left hand (drivers side) one (57 pixels vs. 62 pixels) and it looks slightly strange.

Justin, it may just be the photo but the passenger side mirror could be swivelled more towards the car than the drivers side. This in itself is not unusual on any road car. Indeed the standard Rover M12/M400 mirrors are already angled differently from the factory. 24 degrees passenger side and 18 degrees drivers side IIRC.

Very different

They are smaller than the originals, that's plain for all to see, but the glass is convex so I'm thinking that the view isn't that different...you just need to adjust to the fact that things look closer with these. I'm having to be a lot more cautious filtering onto motorways etc., but it'll be a lot easier for you guys driving on the wrong side of the road

Nope (you aren't the only one!) and I'd prefer some remote adjustment (ie: from inside the car) too.

Rob, you only need internal adjusters when they won't stay in one place like the originals. Once installed and adjusted you can forget them.
