Just the normal 6/12 Volt Accumate is fine, but make sure you get the Cigar lighter extension as well as this will make life a lot easier. Mine works just fine.

Get an optimate 3 sp, e-bays best but i am yet to locate a cigarette lighter adaptor, can someone let me know where i can get a couple please.

Leven also sell the cigarette lighter attachment - something like £6 or £9 I think (can't be bothered to look!)

Please remember an AccuMate is needed for car battery charging, the OptiMate works slightly different and is designed for smaller capacity batteries ie Motorbikes. This is the official recomendation of the manufacturer.

Maybe... but 5 or 6 years ago they only made the "Optimate" and it was sold for all applications, since then they have introduced the "Accumate" to the range. I bought an "Optimate" back in 2002 and it works fine. Rich...
