Rallye Sunseeker - Who's Coming?

Right then Bolocs, this is a final call for people who want to come to the Rallye Sunseeker on Saturday 25th February:

THEY ARE EXPECTING US - on the official website, we are the first club mentioned on the motorfair page, so lets not show ourselves up by having a poor turnout...

"Once again many of the local car enthusiast clubs will be displaying their cars at Somerley. Amongst these are the Bournemouth Lotus Owners Club, Dorset All Ford Types, Opel Manta Owners Club, Poole Bay Classics, SAAB Owners Club, Mitsubishi Lancer Register, Alpine Owners Club and the Dorset Midget and Sprite Club. The Dorset Land Rover and Range Rover Owners Club will be on hand to provide spectator assistance in the car parks if required."

I'm not doing the showcards as previously suggested so sorry to anyone who has emailed me details, but it's not happening - I've given up trying thru lack of enthusiasm!

Please please please, it will be a good day - least of all you get free entry into the rally!!

I have the passes so it will probably be easiest to give them out on the day if we all meet in the morning and go together. Lotustuart maybe you could meet us en-route as you'll be taking a detour to meet in Bournemouth first?

I really hope more people can make it - please post even if you can't make it.

I can not commit with any certainty, as work is getting in the way of everything at the moment. Working in London for 2.5 weeks and on call for this and next weekend.

Given that, it is most probably best for me to say no, and just turn up to say hello, if the opportunity arises.

Sorry for the late notice, but was not sure how much time I was going to be spending in London until last Friday.

Wish I could be there, but as I am in New Zealand at the moment, I will have to pass. Weather is silly hot at the moment and the raods over here are the best ever. I have never missed my car so much !! Hopefully catch up with you all on sunday 12th of March.

OK Guys, this is the Plan:

We need to be at Somerley Park for about 9am, so let's meet at the Pavillion Car Park at 8.20am so we can leave at 8.30am.

We're heading out towards Verwood, so for the likes of Lotustuart (any others?) it will probably be best to meet you just off the A31, I'm sure there will be a layby somewhere - say at about 8.45am?

If anyone is unable to meet at this time, give me a call when you're at the gate as I'll need to give you a pass: Tel [phone], OR you can phone me anytime before Saturday if you want to collect a pass from me.

You will need to follow event signs to Car Park 'S' or 'Motorfair'. On entry follow 'Exhibitor' signs and marshals will direct you further, then look out for 'Exhibitor B' signs. I'm sure you'll then be able to spot my tangerine!
